Hi Clarissa. Your poem is very well structured but I find it hard at the moment, with spring bursting out everywhere, to think about death and dying. May I suggest you try writing few poems about spring, new life and the wonders of nature as you obviously have a flair for writing?
Hi, Clarissa! I wanted to answer your blogs but as I am older, I tend not to think of death as a bad thing. You do write beautiful poetry though. I would like to see you write something about the joy of life. Enjoy your life as a young person and remember your friends with love. dooley
Hello Clarissa. You have the makings of a good poet. It takes looking at things and really seeing them. You have that talent. Death is only one such thing. As an old man I see death differently. I do not seek it out but I do know it will come in its time. I suppose I look at it as Neil Diamond looked at clouds. "I've looked at clouds from both sides now; from in and out and still somehow, it's clouds illusions I recall. I really don't know clouds at all." Keep writing Clarissa. You have a lifetime of things to say and they will be beautiful.
