Thanks Netty,Budagardener and Droopy. ... I like to start things early just to see if the seeds I swapped for are viable. Then I sow the rest of the seeds outside in the soil directly.

Well you've certainly got the jump on me as I haven't planted any seeds yet either. Redecorating the bathroom after a radiator burst and flooded it had to take priority. I hope to get planting in the next couple of weeks though.
