I love family vacation time! I had the priviledge of getting to take some pics at the Tennessee Aquarium on our trip in '06 and thought they were too pretty to keep to myself! Enjoy!


Anyone know the name of this beautiful tropical flower?

I loved the peaceful and serene setting of this pic! I thought it turned out so nice! =D

I enjoyed the photos and comments. There is an extravegant seahorse. If you had not told me I would not have known the seahorses. Vacations are so cool especially if there is at least one child involved.

Oh I love those photographs!! The seahorses have got to be my favourites.

By the way the flower in the first piccie is an orchid but I'm not sure exactly which one.

I hope you take lots more trips to interesting places like the aquarium Sapphire as we all love to see your exceptional photographs.

Thanks for the comments! I had no idea that flower was an orchid, so now I think they are my fave flower :) I wouldnt have known there were seahorses like that out there ever had we not visited that day! But yes, we had so much fun taking our girls and I lvoe to watch their expressions at seeing new animals!

That orchid is a Phalaenopsis. They are actually fairly easy to grow as a house plant.

Love your photos! Those sea horses were so fun to see. I've seen some in TV programs, but only the ordinary one live. Tropical aquariums are so much fun to visit.
