Will my antiques survive?

Category: Village Square | Posted: Sun Jun 01, 2008 10:29 pm

Well I've done the hard thing and pruned back my affected plants and sprayed with a systemic spray for Black Spot. I hope I save my "babies". My veggie garden is coming slowly. Bush beans, bush cucumbers, fennel, peppers and cantaloupe are on the menu. We've used Fox urine sprinkles around it and so far the bunnies have not ventured in! However they have access to my herb patch. They love the parsley, but leave the oregano, basil, marjoram, rosemary, sage, chives and lavender alone.
I'll be keeping an eye on the roses and let you know how the spray works here on the coast. I will be searching out the old pink blush rose I see in many of my neighbors yards.
