WOW those veggies have certainly grown. I have a dicentra which is the same as your new one - aren't they lovely?

I'm not sure how it'll survive our summer, but my Grandma had them and I just had to try. Yes, all are doing well

Your box gardens are very creative and clever. What a great idea for small city gardens, or where your soil is a problem.

Do you think they encouraged earlier growth?

I can't take credit for the boxes. My husband created those and yes, things grow much faster because of the water chamber and fertilizer system in them. Thanks all for your comments.

GG this posting looks so nice. The pics really show how well your stuff is coming along. Very healthy-looking veg and flowers.

BTW--how are you going to earth-up those leeks of yours?

Hi Sjoerd;
I can remove the plastic cover and add soil aroung the plants. They can be grown without the plastic as it's only purpose is to keep out extra water and weeds. Thanks you for your compliments.
