June 2 Blooms (graphic heavy)
Category: Pianolady's Gardens | Posted: Tue Jun 03, 2008 2:25 am Good day for first blooms on many plants! Duchess of Edinburgh Fourth of July Another Iris (unknown variety) Going to be dividing many hosta in the fall, they're getting huge. Don Juans that I failed to prune, kind of wild this year. Harlequin Honeysuckle continues to put on a show All the hostas I divided and transplanted a few years back. I have an idea to plant the entire back garden with these around my roses to help control the weeds. Would be kind of crazy, but would look nice and lighten my work load quite a bit. Your garden looks lovely! I think that a big planting of hostas is very decorative, and they're so easy to care for too. Your Duchess and the roses are fabulous!
What a gorgeous garden.
Your garden just gets better and better. I really like your Don Juan and that white iris is gorgeous!!
Such beautiful flowers. I like the hostas. I've thought of getting a couple, but don't really have a good place for them. Maybe in the new garden next spring. Thanks for showing us your wonderful garden.
