I went outside this evening to start to trim some of the leaves off my tomato plants to alleviate some of the weight so that they are not taking over my whole garden and pulling their trellises out of the ground, only to find that I am growing the weirdest cucumbers I've ever seen. I found two that were ready to come inside. The first was a HUGE cuke that seems to be from some alien planet (my husband's words were, "That's not a cucumber, that's a monster!"). The thing must be over a foot long! The second cuke was one that was up against the chicken wire make-shift fence that my husband put around the edge of the raised bed to keep the beagle out. This one is in a J shape, I guess from being pushed up against the side of the garden. I wonder if any of the cucumbers I am growing will turn out normal... This blog entry has been viewed 77 times

can u get picts? would love to see them. I just brought another one in that I forgot to a few days ago. It was probably a foot long also.
How about a pic of the beagle too. I have a grandbeagle.
