yellow mimosa

Category: yellow mimosa pods | Posted: Sat Jul 26, 2008 1:09 pm

Hello to all! I am a newbie here and really have no clue where to start. I am very interested in the yellow mimosa and know that it is not common in the United States but from what I am reading I THINK with a bit of TLC that I would like to give it a try. I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to get some PODS from the yellow mimosa tree?
Thanks in advance
JANET

We have a member here on the Stew that has yellow mimosa.I have two growing in my yard. They are not very big yet.I have one that is about 36 inches tall and the other about 8 inches tall.It growns a lot slower than the pink ones I have.I forgot who sent it to me.Maybe Statsmoom did.I don't know how long it takes to bloom.I saw pictures and they are very pretty.

I've been thinking about it, and I think it was Gizmo that sent me the seeds.
