The baby and I need your prayers...

I woke up today feeling like I have felt for the last few weeks, but today was very different. When I woke up, I started bleeding..which when you are pregnant..isn't good at all, especially early in pregnancy. So I called the doctor on call and she told me to lay down and take it easy, because if I was having a miscarriage..there wasn't anything they could do to stop it. So, I have been laying on the couch and in bed and praying. As long as I am laying down, the bleeding slows or stops. I was still bleeding earlier this evening and so I called the doctor again and she said to keep doing what I was doing...so here I lay on the couch with Richie's laptop. I have to call my dr. on Monday and get into see him then. I already had a appointment to see him on Friday, so maybe I can get in earlier to have a ultrasound to see if the baby is ok. I really hope I don't have to stay on bedrest for 7 more months..that would be awful! But if that will save the baby... I will do it. So, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and I will update ya'll as soon as I can.

Oh Heather I really hope that everything turns out OK for you, Richie and the baby. Be careful when you go to the doctors won't you? I sincerely hope the bleeding stops and that the pregnancy continues without any hitches from now on. I'll be thinking of you all.

I had some bleeding like that too, the doctor told me sometimes a bit of the menstrual blood will leak out. Not enough to harm the baby and a few days of laying around will give the uterus a chance to sort of seal itself and the bleeding will stop. I know he gave a technical explanation but that is my interpretation of what he said. :)

Got any books you have been wanting to read but never had the time? Might as well do something fun to keep from worrying.

You know where my prayers are sugar.I did the same thing with you and was put to bed for 7 months .You were well worth it even though you only weighed 4 lbs 15 oz.:) Send all my love and prayers to you.
My mom was was there for me and yours can't be .I'm sorry for that.
