baby tomatoes

Category: my greenhouse | Posted: Wed Oct 03, 2007 4:12 am

I walked thru my back garden to pick more tomatoes, when I found new 2inch baby tomatoes plants along the ground. I put these in new planters and plan to keep them in my greenhouse at which I'll keep 60 degr. to 70 degr. thru out the winter, who knows with a little luck maybe I'll end up with fresh tomatoes all winter. here is a picture of my little
ones:

What a nice surprise! And lucky that you have a greenhouse to keep them warm!

Lucky you Petunia! I wish I had a greenhouse to putter in all winter! I hope your tomatoes do well.

You know, I had transferred all my plants to my garage where I had put fluorescent lights and water containers for higher humidity, but as the temperatures are dropping, I just did not have the heart to let them stay in there lest they die of cold!

Greenhouse has so many advantages. You are really lucky:-)
