My new plant hurt me

Hi to all,
This is new to me . My daughter is heathermt75 and my niece is jubabe296 . I love all kinds of plants and jubabe took after her grandmother and myself and Heathermt seems to be trying really hard.
I have a new plant and it nearly ended my planting career .Im not real sure how to spell its name but here goes its in the cactus family a Mascale plant .
It has big thorns on the ends of each leaf and one of the thorns got me on the knuckle and in a vein
an infection set up fast an almost put me in the hospital .I am recouperating from this. I will be lopping thorns off as soon as I'm able and will
send a picture of this little monster soon.Everyone wonts me to burn it but I'm afraid to do anything with it it just might try to get even lol.
I have a lot of pretty flowers ,I have some very nice sunflowers from last years seeds and they are diferent colors from last year.I have lots of blubs planted also

I wanna see the stupid plant that almost landed my mommy in the hospital. You better not show it to me when I come home to Texas cause I more than likely will take a lawnmower to it!! I can't wait to see pictures of your flowers, Mama. If you have any vegetables, you should post pictures of them on here too!

You have seen most of them except my Mandevilla's in bloom and my Angel Trumpets at night .Tonight I had three big blooms open when I got home from work Shanna held the light while I took pictures hope they show good.My Sun Flowers are diferent colors this year .
