I found a few new blooms on my walk .
Category: My yard yesterday and today | Posted: Sun Apr 20, 2008 7:12 am My walk found a few new blooms. My wonderful yellow climber.
My Orchid climber bloom finally opened .It and my blaze climber run on the same trellis. It does have an orchid shade in it.
I don't know the name of this one but I sure like it.
My imperfect angel totem.
Its almost all open now.
One of my lantanas and the grass I have no name for.
My pansies are still blooming their little heads off.
I think this is the last of my daffies.
The wild spider wort is starting to bloom
This canna is finally blooming now.

Pretty!
Ah, they're so lovely! You're lucky to have all that colour around you, and I'm lucky because you share it with me.
I love the colour of the wild spider wart - wish I had some of that in my garden. You have so much colour Glenda - thanks for sharing all your lovely flowers with us.
Wonderful splashes of colour Glenda, thanks!
It is wonderful to see such a variety of flowers . . . great shots . . . I had never seen a spiderwort . . . I love the pic of it especially. It is so unusual. Does it grow from a bulb? My, but you have a gorgeous place.
Glenda, that may not be a grass in the picture with the Lantana. I can't find any ornamental grasses that look like that.
Thank you so much toni for the name and spiderwort as far as I know grows wild from seeds.
Spiderwort will also put out little plantlets that root when they sit on the ground, a lot like the hanging Spider Plant does. After a few months, gently dig up the rooted baby plant and repot. I have done two so far and have a few more to do.
Your blooms are so delightful to see, Glendann. I just keep scrolling up and down...and up ...and down...
Thank you Sjoerd I'm glad you enjoyed them.Yes my yellow rose smells so good.
I'm just getting my daffys and hyacynths, my tulips haven't flowered yet. Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful pics. I love the spider wort, I am so drawn to blue flowers. Really beautiful! Login or register to leave a comment. |
