The things in my yard this week
I found this butterfly in trouble.I sure feel sorry for it but the spider had to eat too.
You would think this would have been a lesson to the others but I guess not.
These are my blooms today and tonight. The white and wine hybiscus is taking off really good.
This hybiscus is so deep color wine but the picture shows it to be red.
The White night blooming Datura.
This is one of a bigger Datura plant this plant seed must have been tracked over to this part of the yard last year as my main plant is on the opposite side of the yard.
Another yellow glad is starting to bloom a little late this year. The apricot sparkle that got broke some how is now about to bloom again.
One of my moon flower vines is blooming tonight. It also is struggling from wont of a good rain.
This is my mamoth sunflower but the flower is not as big as they usually get but with no rain it hasn't grown like usual.
My mandavilla is trying to start blooming. Two blooms today. One in the morning and two tonight.

Beautiful white Hibiscus. I would love to find a white one. All I see are coral, pink, orange. etc. The night picture of the sunflower... is that the moon? It is full tonight. Love the Mandavilla also.
Thank you kuntrygal.I will save you some seeds if the grasshoppers don't eat them.Yes, I took that tonight just at dusk and the moon is full.I'm hoping that mandavilla doesn't die from the heat its 2 yrs old this year.
You've got nice flowers there. I love the sunflower and moon photo. We grow the Mandevilla as house plants. I always kill them.
Just look at all those lovely flowers! I realize that your little babies are suffering from a shortage of water, but they are sure loooking nice in spite of it.
Oh I really like that white hibiscus Glenda!!! None of my glads have shown at all this year and yet we've had a lot of sunshine and rain.
Thank you all.
Um..yeah.. you forgot to put a disclaimer or warning about that spider. That thing was almost bigger than the butterfly!!!!
Love your flowers Glenda. I once grew a moonflower that climbed two stories up my stair rail. They almost don't seem real at night, do they? Mandevilla is choice too. Thanks for sharing.
Oops sorry Heather I forgot you are scared to death of them :) I still don't know
