Tropical Storm came through here this afternoon

We finally got some good rain ,wonderful rain today.The Tropical Storm came through today .We had heavy rain this afternoon and tonight.Really very mild winds and at time a little high but it sure cooled our area down.
The farmers and ranchers coming is was the happiest I've seen them in a long time.Toni I do hope you and kuntrygal got some of it too.My plants looked so happy tonight.

I'm so glad you got your much needed rain. I know all of you in the south have been worried about that. Lets hope that the others got to share in the wealth of it. I know that heat would of been way to much for me, and glad also that it has cooled off.

No rain here so far. We could see the huge beautiful thunderheads passing by to the south yesterday. It is overcast here this morning which is a wonderful thing since we have had nothing but pale blue skies for days, the lack of sun is wonderful.

We got the wind and cooler temps, but not a drop of rain. The radar showed the rain going to the south and north of Lufkin. Totally passed us by. But I think our high temp today is supposed to be 88!!! Maybe I need to get my winter coat out. I don't even own a winter coat...I am so hot natured, that I can't stand even a jacket in 32 degree weather! Glad you got rain, Glenda and Toni, I hope you did.

Good for you Glendann. Isn't the rain a blessed relief? I love the overcast days for working outdoors. Last night I only put in a Clematis I bought (1/2 price!) and my clothes were soaked through. Enjoy.
