Had a really rough day today

I had 2 Dr.Appointments today.One for the Respiratory Specialist at 1:30 pm and one for the Heart Specialist at 3:39 pm.I had to get an inspection sticker as I had forgot it all month.Then on to the Drs.I had to go on one side of town to the Med Hospital to get my chest x-rays in College Station then back across town to Bryan Saint Joseph hospital to the Dr. when the x-rays Got out of there and had app.with heart Dr.at 3:30 pm back to College Station Heart clinic.He says I may have arteries clogged in legs and neck and I have to have a stress test and some kind of scan.I got out of there had a message on my phone that Kevin got sick at work and was in an ambulance headed to Madison St.Joseph hospital.I got there a little after 6 pm and he was being transferred to Bryan St.Joseph.He may be having a heart attack or may have Diabetes . They will monitor him over night and do a stress test tomorrow ,and how was your day. I sure hope easier than mine.Listening to the news all day about Ike from the looks of it it will come right over us to toni and kuntrygal.. Hope your day was better.

Good grief, Glenda....what a day! Sorry to hear about Keven, and I wish that your day had not been so hectic.
I assume that you will eventually have an arteriogram or some other kind of further testing to r/o the doc's suspicions, right? Any idea when those will take place?

You take it easy now and keep us posted on the results...and yourself as well as Keven.

Gosh all that rushing about that you had to do must have added to your stress levels Glenda!! Then to hear that Kevin was in hospital would have pushed them even higher. I hope he will be OK and that he'll make a full recovery. Please take care of yourself.

So sorry to hear about your husband's physical problems and yours as well. Don't delay treatment for those legs in taking care of your husband. He needs you to be in good health and so do you. Take extra care about this Ike thing headed toward you. We'll have you in our prayers.

My stress test will be a Nuclear Stress test and it will be on Sept.25th. I already know what blockages can do .I had a quadruple bypass in 2003.No fun for sure but he is sure I will have an Angioplaste if they are clogged and I should be ok.If they are clogged.
Yes,it looks like I prayed Ike away from N.O. to us :) I'm about 190 miles from Galveston and will get quiet a bit of blow from Ike from the looks of it.I have talked to Kevin a few seconds ago .His blood suger is low and his blood pressure is high.They are still running tests.

blood pressue was high at the hospital and he is now on medication . He can go back to work tomorrow.
