Another talented junker here. I envy those who can recycle with such ingenuity.
Great finds Glenda, you could get some spagnum moss, WalMart has it, to line the teapot, fill with dirt and plant, you could even get a hanger for it to make it into a hanging planter.
Kinda what I was thinking Cajunbelle thanks.
*pout* not very many garage sales around here this time of year. Then again, I'm trying to get together stuff to sell at my own gs to raise money for my son's trip.
I love the tea kettle and the birdhouse!!! The bird cage is going to look fantastic when you put a climbing plant in it. That does it I MUST go to more garage sales - soon.
Sharon gave you my idea for the teapot, that will look really pretty with a hanging plant of some sort.
Cool finds, Glenda.
Thanks everyone.I have now glued the globe on top of
Much better than the stuff I bought at the flea market. But, a man gave me three ceramic ducks and a woman gave me two teddy bears. I bought a cookbook and a chinese bowl. DR bought a chimney cleaner. We'll have to take a picture so you can see how it works. Dooley
I can't wait for the garage sales to get in full swing again!! I love your teapot! I would also suggest a hanging basket for it!! I can't wait to see your finished totem!! You have put alot of thought and work into it's making!!
I adore that wire kettle. Good thing you don't live close by.
The handles fold over Bethie
Ah, the teapot is screaming for a plant. Perhaps a boxwood which can be pruned to the shape of the teapot? Have you seen the prices of those wire cage animals? WOW!
