Blooming and blooming

I have took some more pictures I wanted to show you.

First is my giant red Zennia





Next is the giant Pink Zennia with a grasshopper sitting on it.(being invaded by them this year)

We are starting to get a lot of grasshoppers here now. I don't have any zinnias. The birds ate them as soon as they poked through the ground. Dooley

I love your red zinnia Glenda with it's layer upon layer of perfect petals and yellow centre.

You certainly managed to capture quite a bit of wildlife in your photographs - pretty butterfly.

I grew up with zinnias, so they have a special place in my memories. No double ones in those days I could never grow them. I guess I always lived where the weather is too dry. ;-D oh yes, that is life. That love lies bleeding plant - that name fits! shame. Lovely photos perfect is more like it.
