Apart from your roses, everything else you have, I have to grow as houseplants. I'm feeling a tad envious at your wonderful blooms.
Everything is looking great, Glenda!
Thanks both of you.
Everything's looking fine and dandy Glenda. Looks warm there also. Thanks for posting.
Yes,Frank but its cooler than a normal Texas and we dodged a big bullet today .We don't need the rain that was headed this way and it changed its direction. It is to drop into the 80s this weekend anyway.
I'm envious of your beautiful blooms, too. Seems like there is so many more plants you can grow.USDA lists the Kenai Peninsula where I live in Alaska, as zone 6b. I have a hard time believing that... must be global warming ha. Anyway ,so nice of you to share your lovely flowers with us who are starting to look at brown. :- |
Thank you coolalaskan for the great comment. My blooms are about to finish up.It wont be long until all will have to be cut back for winter.
Hi your pictures are great have enjoyed looking at them your differant zones get me muddled as we dont have them down here
Thank you much skud my zone is 8b.I don't get as cold as some of Texas so covering the roots usually will protect them from the cold.
what beautiful pics !
I see you have a monster cana lily. How tall does yours get because my red one gets over 6 feet and I think that is so abnormal. Alot of my plants get super tall and it messes up my garden design. Love the pics
Mine get about 6 Ft.tall also.Put them along the edge of your yard or at the back along the fence if you don't like them growing where they are. They will grow just about anywhere.
Oh dirt2diamonds I forgot, Thank you For your comments
