morning glory

Category: nature's marvels | Posted: Tue Oct 20, 2009 11:50 am

i saw the morning glory by cherylad. so beautiful.
mine is simple compared to that. looks quite ordinary.
busy these days, preparations - full swing.
rains have stopped and it is getting warm.
my plants are in a sorry state because of the painting work in and around the house.

Aww, is that is a sweet little mimosa blossom? They have a lovely fragrance that I love, but the trees themselves are so invasive around my yard, I have mixed feelings about them! Two pretty pink flowers!

That Morning Glory is also very attractive. Morning Glory's are such simple, yet beautiful flowers, i find.
I was thinking that the second flower was a Mimosa-sort as well. Whatever it is, it's exoctically beautiful.

Simple but lovely, thanks GF.

If the morning glory that is such a pest around here had those beautiful pink flowers I wouldn't mind the way they tangle and choke everything, and would train the vines instead. I love the looks of both of those pinik flowers :)

oh, thanks a lot. the morning glory is not very happy with our hot climate. very few flowers, actually. i used to count the blooms in the beginning. they get a golden coloured fly on them, who eat up all the leaves.
i really have to find out the names properly of all my plants, soon.
thanks again.
