We Are A Village

Category: Special Blogs | Posted: Mon Feb 05, 2007 3:18 am

We are a village. Today we are a village in mourning, a village in grief, a village in despair, trying to understand how such a monster could creep in and commit such an unspeakable atrocity. Our village is a little less bright, a beautiful spark of life cut short by an inhuman being. It will be a long time before our village will sleep peacefully again, it will be a long time before Kaitlin's family will see the sun shine again. Rest in peace Kaitlin Marie Aydell , I know you are as beautiful an angel as you were a human.

When it comes to the difficulty understanding such a horrible thing, when it comes to the anger, frustration, sadness and feelings for this family, I think that all of us at the Stew are part of that village. It will change with time for you all, but it will always hurt. Take care and God go with you all.

How terrible it is that a young girl's life was taken so brutally! Our world is diminished now. The bell tolls for us.
We send our condolences to you, all of you.

There is nothing anyone can say that will alleviate the horror of the ending of this young girls life in such atrocious circumstances. I hope she is at peace now and that, in time, the village and her family will be able to remember all the good times that they spent with her in her, all too short, existance on this planet.

I have lost 2 children one was a bike accident. He was almost 10 yrs old. The other was very preemie and lived
18 1/2 hrs. Its the hardest
thing in the world to have to live through.I can't even think about loosing one in the way this little girl
died.Its a parents nightmare.
