Am I or Am I not

Category: Just Stuff | Posted: Wed Jan 24, 2007 6:38 pm

Well the past couple of weeks has been am I driving to Phoenix with my family, are we all flying or what about the train. We researched all the ways and they are all about the same cost. The airplane is 3 hours from St. Louis and non-stop. The train, with a bedroom car, is two days and the car can be done in two or two and 1/2 days. After much discussion and counting money and bills etc. my son decided they better wait until fall to go visit. So,I traveled to Springfield Monday and made airline reservation and got my ticket for two weeks in April. Now I just have to wait until April and time seems to pass so slow. If we get a semi nice day I want to drive up to some our old "stomping" grounds and get pictures to take with, I am already going through albums for older pictures.
Today is a stay at home/housework day. I have been cleaning and washing and dusting. I don't like housework days very much but I guess it is necessary.
I got a Burpee seed catalog and have been trying to decide what kind of plants I want to get. My husband Gene and I are not in total agreement about what to plant.
We aren't in agreement about how much longer winter will last. I say 8 weeks and he says 6, he must get warmer faster than I do.
Well I am off to change clothes from washer to dryer and see what else I need to do, or get out of doing today.

I'm glad you are getting to go.I know Dooley is getting excited also.I'm like you with house work I'd rather
be in the yard digging in dirt.I just have to clean and wash and fold but don't like it.I go to Montana in April.I can't wait I get to see my new Grandbaby delivered by C-Section and
see my baby girl and her hubby and my other baby
Trey.I can hardly wait.

Now the hard part begins, the waiting for departure day.
Personally I would have opted for the train. I have never taken an overnight trip on a train, just a 6 hour trip to Houston and back home many years ago.

Thankfully gardening is not what Randy does so the choice of plants is all mine.

You see your grandchildren more often than I see mine but they are great! I'm glad you have a ticket even if the others aren't coming. I've been typing stories but haven't had the ambition these past few days. I haven't checked out the pictures yet but we did that the last time you were here so it shouldn't be too hard.
