Amanita's, the poisonous ones.
Just took my fourth Amanita, I now have taken four in my collection of 146 fungi. Although they are poisonous, they are nice looking mushrooms and always great to find.

They are rather attractive aren't they? Well done in finding four for your collection of photographs.
The top one's nice. I haven't seen that in our woods. The three other ones I've spotted, but I'm not certain the white one actually had white spots on the cap.
The bottom one looks like a Fly Amanita, don't know about the others, but they're all pretty!
The fourth is the fly amanita, the top one is aprica, rather new I believe, a recent find in the scientific world, just a few years ago. The brown is Amanita pantherina. Login or register to leave a comment. |
