A couple of Caspian Terns.

Category: My wildlife images | Posted: Tue Jul 06, 2010 5:18 am

There are a few caspian terns spending the summer down at the local lagoon. I visit it 2 or 3 times a week and had a chance to take some pics as they were on the ground and not fishing.

I'm so glad you live where you do Kildale. I get to see wildlife that we don't have here and see it more clearly through your photogrphs. Many thanks.

Great picture! I sometimes get Caspian Terns during migration, but they're usually not in breeding plumage.
