A new damselfly
Also, getting away from that, damselflies wings are held close together along the body when resting, of course those that study them know this but there are damselflies called spreadwings, and here is one. They spread their wings when resting.

I never actually seen a spreadwing before Kildale. These insects look so delicate compared to dragonflies.
Great photo, you got really good detail and I like how the light is reflecting of the wings and the pretty blue eyes.
It was nearly impossible to see, although it was blue on mainly green foliage, it was amazing how it blended in. Login or register to leave a comment. |
