There are a few robber fly species, I'm lucky that I know the top expert in North America on the subject, he has written papers etc and is top man at the Museum.

I agree with Kay - awesome photographs. I can't say that insects like these are a favourite subject of mine but I can appreciate the quality of your pictures Kildale.

Thanks Eileen. I don't know how I got into photographing insects and spiders, I used to photograph horses and yachts. Now with my nature site its all just nature.
