Waxwing tale
A waxwing hit the window today and landed on the sundeck. I went out and just picked it up. I put it in an open cupboard on the deck. After 15 minutes or so, it moved onto the edge of the bed I hadd made for it (just a towel in a small wreath thing)I then just put my hand near it, not touching it at all. It just hopped on, as I walked across the deck it slowly moved up my arm and then flew off. I had my camera of course, shooting the last pic.

Kildale it's obvious to me that the birds think of you as someone they can trust. I'm so pleased the waxwing was only stunned at that it can now continue its life in the wild.
What a sweet looking bird! He was saying "thanks" to you for being so kind. Glad he is alright!
