The snow came and went overnight, I was lookng forward to some snowy bird pictures. Anyway, between showers I had a walk down at the lagoon, there are lots of ducks there. They come for the winter from the prairies. The herons are always around so I had to make do with those. I have taken so many duck shots.

Beautiful pictures. We have only one Stellar's Jay here this year. Got a poor shot at a kestrel-type, haven't figured out what exactly, yet. Dozens of scrub jays and doves. And a variety of small birds. And two chickens from the neighbors. They (the chickens, not the neighbors) like the feed we put out better than what they get at home!
