For those interested in in what goes on in the woods etc. besides trees, I will post a lichen here each day. If I don't forget and not away somewhere. They all don't grow hanging from the trees, like moss they grow everywhere. Here is a strange one to get us started, Devil's matchstick, Pilophorus acicularis.
