I have not managed to take any photos of waxwings, only one that hit the window a couple of years ago. Today I was standing on the sundeck waiting for a nuthatch when this waxwing turned up and started eating the berries on the honeysuckle.Talk about lucky.

I've only ever seen waxwings at a distance and never near enough to get a good photograph. I'm so glad one visited your garden as I think they are very special birds.
