I watched a couple of eagles hunting today down at the lagoon. One would rest on a small island and then take off again. They were a long way off, 100 yards or more so the pictures are not very good.

What do you mean these pictures are not good?? Maybe by your standards but They are very cool to me. :) I would love to see one of these beauties up close. (besides in the zoo)
