Have been taking photos of marine life. With the tides so low and some knowedgable people identifying all the star fish, crabs and everything else it was a great time, Now its back to the birds. We don't get to see many owls so that is the image for today. A short eared one.

It looks so majestic and cuddly at the same time. Owls are special birds.

We have Short Eared Owls here in Scotland. I saw one flying down on the east coast a few years ago and it's a memory I'll always treasure. Owls have always held a special fascination for me and I have a beautiful photograph of a Barn Owl in my hall that my eldest son took for me.

Welcome back!!
