The only bird I name is the pileated woodpecker, gonzilla. This is a dove from AZ when I was down there a few weeks ago.

Well, there is a familiar face... the doves are sweet birds, at least I think so. A coworker says the cooing drives her crazy -- I can't understand that...

We have collared doves around here and I've seen as many as fourteen in my garden at one time. They are rather handsome birds though so they're welcome to stop off and share the food I put out.
