Chickadee and Nuthatch too.
There are a few other birds that use the cone, two are the chickadee and the nuthatch.

You certainly have a great variety of birds enjoying the suet in that pine cone. I'm thinking of doing the same and hanging a few around the garden.
I don't believe I have ever seen a nuthatch. He's a nice looking bird. Must be interesting to eat while upside down!
I like the chickadees, they're so trusting and fun to watch. I think our nuthatches are bluer, with a bit of red alongside the black eye stripe. They are such pretty birds. Login or register to leave a comment. |
