A Cattle Egret

Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Mon Jul 27, 2009 4:40 pm

Thank you all for the comments, glad I'm forgiven for that little fib. The Great Egret has black legs while the cattle egret has yellow legs. So this egret is the cattle egret, taken in Hawaii.

I wonder what your egret is watching so intently?
I saw a whole flock of white (don't know which kind) egrets over in Holland. There must have been aound 50 birds all roosting in the same tree.
