Mallards on ice.
We had a bit of frost this last week and the ducks had a little bit of trouble walking on the ice. Here are a couple of the mallards.

They have the same trouble around here today. It is very cold and the water is all iced over. wannabe
The poor ducks, swans and other water birds don't seem to understand what's happening around here. One day they can swim freely, next day the ponds are iced over and then snow falls on the ice and they can't even see the water. They all stand around looking slightly bemused.
