Two wigeon at the lagoon.
A lot of the ducks come here for the winter from the prairies and return there to nest. Gives me a great chance to get images of them. Here are a couple of American Wigeon. I have an Eurasian wigeon too.

Such elegent little birds. We have widgeon over here but I doubt if they are the same species as yours.
We have them in Ohio, too. Eileen, what you have is almost certainly Eurasian Wigeon, instead of the American. Login or register to leave a comment. |
