Snail Wars & the first seeds sown

Category: Current events | Posted: Sun Jun 07, 2009 7:32 pm

-insert Star Wars theme here-

Long ago, in a garden not so far away...

There was a girl and a bucket of soapy water.

That's right. SOAPY WATER.

You just pick them up and pop em' the the bucket of SOAPY WATER. I also added salt just to see them fizzle.

-snigger-

Don't get me wrong, I still love snails. Just not when they're eating my plants.

On a slightly less morbid note, I planted some of my seeds today in my little biodegradable container thingies. I planted 2 pumpkins, 6 sunflowers, 4 radishes, and 2 watermelons, and then I watered them with water mixed with my miracle*grow all purpose plant food.

I hope and pray that they grow.

I didn't know that when it comes to small seeds like radishes that you have to plant multiple seeds in case the don't grow, so I went back and added two more seeds to each container with the radish seeds.
Good thing my mom knows a thing or two about gardening.

Well, later days!
