SUNNY,HOT AND DRY IN ORLANDO, FL

Category: Garden, Flowers and Citrus in Orlando, FL | Posted: Sun May 08, 2011 9:21 pm

Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers.

My garden is doing well because I am watering everyday.
I have cucumbers, squash, tomatoes, green peppers, bush beans, okra, and lettuce planted. Also sweet potatoes and golden potatoes. The asparagus plants will take a couple of years and all three plants are growing good.
I still have grapefruit, oranges and tangerines on the trees to pick. The wonderful thing about citrus is you don't have to pick it when it is ripe. It can stay on the tree for several months while you eat it or give it away.

I will put up pictures soon.
Happy gardening to all.

If you should see a well muscled lad who's 6'2" with long blonde hair don't worry. My youngest son is a fruitarian and I think he's going to take up residence in your garden!! LOL
