New concept for the pond area(Water Garden)

Not a fan of winterThis winter has not been a friend of mine. It hit hard and fast. I wanted to get some bulbs put in the ground but the snow came one night and it is too frozen for me to be able to do anything. I am so ready for spring to get here and to be able to do some more work outside. I have so much that needs done. However, I will be starting most of my flowers in the house this year so that they have good strong roots and grow nice and big. I am currently looking for dirt to fill in the water pond that I wanted to have. The neighbor kids broke it on the side so I am going to fill it in with dirt and put some cactuses in it and maybe a little tree. I have not been able to find one that I like yet so this is still a project in the thinking stages. I just wish it was possible to be outside doing it right now.
