Windmill Project

Category: Spring Project | Posted: Thu Jun 24, 2010 3:59 pm

Decided in May to make a focal point in the yard from the kitch door view.

Many wheel barrel loads of "fill" dirt to create the mound.

Then I added several bags of topsoil and placed the Windmill(store bought). The plants are Yellow Daylillies, Purple Coneflowers(which something later ate) Prarie Sun Rudbeckia and a plant that someone gave which me and I will have to have this forum identify soon.

Some lighting and mulch and I was done.

Looks like a good spot for a focal point. I'll look forward to future photographs as you progress.

Yes, great! I like it a lot. Certainly livens up the area.
