we had hail last night

while sleeping we were woken up to yup,hail..not real big though,and it was lightening out as well, that means ,yup,it rained!!..great...pouts...
today its dreary!and wet..
so not much to do in the yard today,but we will be bringing all our plants in for those low temps expected tonight.
my azealas.
the new guy in the garden bed.
so im waking up to some coffee now will write later today,,great day to ya all..

alot of weeds

today i worked out in one of the flower beds pulling this little bluish purple flower thats a weed,i didnt get the root mind you, but tonight i got the black cloth material walmart sells to cover it all up,but my plants(im in heaven)...tomorrow will be nice ,its wednesday and thursday we will be worrying about 28 degrees,brrrrr..so tomorrow we will carry in all the plants and cover up whats planted, yawning,oh brother...
just put on a fresh pot of coffee,got home a bit ago,we ate out at captain d's,hadnt been there in awhile.well thats all for tonight, gonna sit down and watch a old movie with ron,,

their blooming

the sun is out early today,rons gone to work,and i will be out in the yard finishing up near the barn.should be in the 70's today,,yes!
still drinking coffee,we were up late last night.i want to show you all the ornamental cherries blooming,takes my breath. so looking forwards to getting out there.
oh and one last thing,my gargoyle that sits around and sits around while we are working here,lol..

the sun is out! the birds are singing,and have alot of work to do today,going to remove the sod at the barn to plant our azealas,but the bushes will be put in after next weeks cold temps were expected to get.its april fools day, and i couldnt come up witha good prank ,but that rons ear was hanging off, he went and looked in the mirror, (made you look)was what i said,then april fools...
got 2 new garden items to put in flower beds.have a great day..

another day traveling around

we took off early in the truck, wasnt a good day to be outside working in the yard,windy and wet.so we went and took back a umbrella we bought at walmart and a sprayer to lowes,cause ron forgot he had one and had bought another,lol..
then while at walmart we bought 18 more azeala bushes to plant near the barn,the color will be great there,next to the old barn boards.
then went to colonial nursery in blue springs and found some geraniums for 3.99 better than 6.99 we paid the other day.
oh also picked up another tree rose at lowes,it was already blooming,and the flowers as big as the kind david austin has.

also got a fushia at walmart,like them but the weather is going to be down in the high 20's next week, so ill be carrying in alot of plants and covering up some outside,what a bummer!

Down time

today its dreary looking out,dont see me spending much time outside today,the weather may not be good till sunday.
i wanted to blog last night,but it said i had over 400 minutes to wait, that was depressing,when you want to write ,you want to then,not later.
frankly i dont think theirs enough active blogs to keep a limit on them.
maybe i just need a diffrent journal for all my thoughts.

two people caught in the middle
and one who has to move
the other who is trapped
and doesnt want to budge
what do they do.... personal thought...

not much happening today,planted onions, brocoli.
hung fern on porch.
talked to mom,dads not doing good(alsheimers).wished i was home!
not much to say,just checking in,,
my azeala from wally world.

a nice placein the shade to hang out ,a dream of a pond here.

WE WORKED ARE BUTTS OFF

TODAY ,was sunny and a good day to get alot done. 1st thing i planted my geraniums ,in the wicker planter,then we went to town ,ron needed a new sprayer to kill weeds,and i had come up with a idea for plants in another flower bed,i decided on boxwoods and roses with a bird bath in the middle, got them all planted.ron also trimmed the crape myrtle and the pampass grass.
the garden centers are really getting the plants now,including hanging baskets(ferns)got 1 for front porch...drug out my willow chairs from garden shop,a nice place to just sit.




well going to bed,im pooped,lol.
night all..
