alone you sit upon the wire,your long life mate had expired. you cant wait to go to the place your mate took off to,sad you sit and will always wait..your lonely now and sit up yonder, you make a sound that make us wonder just how sad we sure do ponder,oh lonely dove.do you cry all the time?

ya,went all over looking ,walmart,kmart a few other places and nothing .the last place we went was bens in blue springs,and to my suprise..whew-hoo.they had them,no white ones though, but i got the red and pink,6.99 a piece,higher than what they sell for at wally world or k-mart usually,but hey its early right.well we bought them and a few other things.silene triumph rose(pink flower) a perennial,not of the rose bush.and vintage peach stock and a vintage rose stock,again not a rose.at sutherlands we bought two outdoor ferns,which i have already planted in clay pots and put on front porch,i love ferns!.ron got some brocoli and cauliflower to put in the garden.it rained every where but here in odessa,that was nice cause i had all my cushions and pillows on the wicker,though its suppose to rain here tonight!(blah)well at least it will be after were gone to bed,,,,






well thats it for tonight,have a pleasant night all!

HERE COMES THE SUN,ITS ALRIGHT....

a 3rd day now the sun has opt to come out,im so glad!rons at work today and i'll be outside doing my thing, mainly smelling the flowers, other words,ill just be puttering around and doing whatever,lol..i tell him to relax some and enjoy the flowers,the old addage"dont forget to stop and smell the daisies" he cant sit still to long! we may still get frost here till the 15 th of april so im cautious in putting out my houseplants to soon,even planting some of my vinning seeds, but im impatient too!

here is my weeping cherry,its getting reay to open up and bloom.


magnolia bush is also flowering now.

the gazebo looks quite dull without my house plants hanging from it.

shabby chic gardening

well today was another beautiful day, got alot done in the yard,raked all the mulch from the rose beds we'd put on them,ron mowed the lawn,i planted my mothers tyme,and a few flowers,plus we planted some tomatoes..notice the painted windows,1 had hung up in bathroom till recently,ron needed it back for his a-frame,lol..my azealeas still need to be planted,and the last pic is pv(piss and vinegar) in a tree near garden

the sun came out today,finally...and guess what?

and we went outside and i brought all my cushions out and stuff, then we went to town and went to kmart where i found a wisteria vine,blooming! and a hydrangea tree,i was so excited...jumping up and down,lol..well not that bad,inside maybe...hehehe.
then we stoped for a shake to drink,after that stoped at a regular haunt and i found a old watering can for 7.50 to add to my collection,and a neat old pair of clippers,victorian times maybe,,then we went to "old time pottery" neat place ..picked up a couple of big clay pots,then on to home depot,where they had red azealas ,oh boy...so i got 2.
and 2 big bags of potting soil..i was wanting to hurry home to start planting some of it, while we bbq pork ribs and a chicken breast for me,we enjoyed the rest of the day..hey and tomorrow is suppose to be just as nice,then rain for a few days after,,hope your day was good! hugs..

sewed my heart out today,made some pillows for the bed,out of the flannel ticking,and a cushion and matching pillow for my inside wicker chair out of a old table cloth with roses on it,i'd bought for 5.00 awhile back.also made a pillow for outside out of 2 new spring colored dish clothes,i love this one .its stacked with all my other pillows to go on the outside funiture..



well there ya have it,now its time to kick back and watch a movie, maybe a good horror flick,lol

that new ticking material i got the other day, well i made some pillow case's and a couple of toss pillows for the bed,not to much to do,rons painting the down stairs bathroom,a nice chocolate color,so were sorta keeping busy till the weather clears.

my house plants are really needing out! soon,lol
the bouganvilla is dying for some sunshine so it can flower too!and kats needing some to so she can smile like this again,lol.

i watched the weather last night

oh god rain from now till the middle of next week! thats so depressing,told god to send it else where to someone who needs it.

the back of housebefore pergolas..and patio set,i cant use because of wind lately(umbrella)
here's a mosaic table i bought for 20.00,made with broke rose pattern plates,i love this.

its 65 degrees now expecting it to warm up more.
well gonna finish drinking my 1st cup of coffee..hope alls good with you...

night time at my home

rons watching a old john wayne movie and im looking up garden catalogs,i have the usual ones,but always looking for something diffrent.had ham and beans earlier,corn bread wasnt my best this time,i did forget to add my bit of sugar to it.
tomorrow i hope will be nicer ,the sun out all day would be great!this is my grandson jeremiah,seen him at his house earlier this month when we went home. here's pic of 4 of our 5 cats.

bandit,they are good buddies.
