Snow!! And it's almost April!
Category: all my tulips | Posted: Sat Mar 31, 2007 5:44 am It is snowing so much outside!! I can't believe it! I guess that is what I get for moving to Montana!! There is about 8 or 9 inches outside and it is still snowing really hard. Some of the snowflakes are as big as half dollars! My poor tulips...they are tough though. I have been sick with the flu or something like it for the last few days. I swear...I just want 1 week before I have this baby to be healthy!!! I did go to the doctor the other night because I thought my water broke, but it didn't but I did find out that I am starting to dilate. You have to dilate to 10cm and I am only at 1cm. So I could stay at a 1cm for awhile, so I'm not worried..yet. I'm thinned out about 50%, but of course, I will just have a c-section so that doesn't really matter. Just as long as Logan waits til after the 20th so Mama can be here to greet the little troublemaker!!! Also, Mr. Trey celebrated his 3rd birthday on Monday,the 26th. He didn't want a birthday cake, he wanted a doughnut cake!! Don't ask me where he got the idea, but we went to Krispy Kreme and got 2 dozen and made a "doughnut cake" and he loved every bite! I took some pictures, but with my new camera, you have to finalize the disk to be able to put the pics on a computer and if you don't use all the space on the disk.it's wasted and those little things are expensive. So I'm going to wait to post any pics until after Easter, so I can get some good ones of Trey coloring Easter eggs and hunting them, plus a couple of Logan before he makes his debut. :) Hopefully I will be feeling a little better in the next few days. I have so much housecleaning to do and I still have to get Trey's baby clothes and get them hung up in Logan's closet and get Mama's bed ready for her to sleep in. April, 30th is the date!!
Category: My life | Posted: Tue Mar 20, 2007 6:52 am Well, went to the doctor today and my blood pressure was perfect! 116/64!! I was so happy! And the doctor scheduled my c-section for April,30th, but if I go into labor after April,10th.. he said they wouldn't stop it and he would just do the c-section then. So at least pray Logan waits until after April,23rd. That is when Mama is going to be flying up here. So, we are in the home stretch now! This blog entry has been viewed 118 times
Pictures of my tulip sprouts!!
Category: all my tulips | Posted: Sat Mar 17, 2007 6:47 am They aren't that great of pictures, but Richie is going to take some really good ones, hopefully this weekend. We need to level out the dirt in the flower bed, but I am afraid to level too much until I can see how many tulips actually survived the tulip killer's rampage last spring. For those of you who aren't sure who the tulip killer is, check out my older blogs..they have pictures of the culprit. I can't wait to see how many are going to come up. So here are just a couple of pictures of them. The dirt that the tulips are growing in is really hard dirt, so when I can get Richie to go to the store, I'm going to have him get some good potting soil to help soften it up a bit. Hopefully soon I will have rose pictures for ya'll!!

Feeling better
Category: My life | Posted: Fri Mar 16, 2007 5:33 am Mom I know filled ya'll in on my blood pressure. I feel a lot better, but I'm still pretty tired and having some dizziness. But the tiredness is from being anemic so I will start taking iron supplements along with my prenatal vitamins so that when I do have the c-section, I won't hopefully need a blood transfusion so I gotta work to get my red blood cell count back up. It isn 't that low, but they really want it to be normal. The doctor is going to set the date for my c-section next week, so I will have a date, at least. I could go into labor before then, but the dr. sounded happy with my blood pressure and labwork. So we will keep trucking in the right direction!! Logan sure is kicking a lot and the other night, we could actually feel the outline of one of his little feet!! Talk about weird!!! The whole thing is kind of like a sci-fi movie...lol But, he is doing great. I only gained a pound since the 9th, but at least it's going up. So that is what has happened with Logan so far. But I also have some gardening news...finally!! Last spring, Trey tried to help me by "watering" my tulips and drown them all....so I thought. I was coming home from the doctor's office the other day and was commenting to Richie how I wished I had some flowers to look at other than the ones posted on Gardenstew and low and behold we look in my barrin tulip bed and there were tulips sprouting!!!!! I didn't get a chance to count how many there were but it looked to be around 9 or 10! I couldn't believe it! So when I am able to, or I may get Richie to take some pictures of the sprouts. I am so suprised!! Hopefully more will come up too! So I will have some tulips this year after all!!! I will post some pics as soon as I can. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. It helps keep my spirits up while waiting for Logan to make his debut!! It means a lot to me!!! I'm very grateful to my friends here on the Stew!!! This blog entry has been viewed 110 times
Jubabe made Logan a baby blanket!!!
Category: My life | Posted: Sat Mar 10, 2007 7:53 am I got a package about a week or so ago from Jubabe and in it was a baby blanket that she made for Logan!! I love it!! I can't wait to lay him on it and take his picture!! It was his first gift so far, except for all the clothes that Nana (glendann) has sent him already. I swear Mama sent so many clothes when I had Trey I didn't have to buy anything new for him until he was 2 years old. But Jubabe's blanket is Logan's first handmade gift. It's Winnie the Pooh and so cute!! I wish I was that talented. I can't even sew on a button!!! Here is a close up picture of the quilt and when I can, I will try to get a better picture of it soon. And as soon as little Logan is born, you can bet I will have a picture of him on it as soon as I can get it on here. Thanks Jubabe!! I can't wait for Logan to meet his mommy's favorite cousin!!

Went to the doctor today...
Category: My life | Posted: Sat Mar 10, 2007 7:47 am Well, I had another 2 week check up today and I thought everything would go great and it did, except I didn't gain any more weight and my blood pressure was a little higher today than it has been the whole pregnancy. That is what happened when I was pregnant with Trey, except it went really high about a week before my due date and Trey was delivered a week early. It is happening pretty early this time around. But the doctor said he wasn't worried just yet and I will see him again in 2 weeks, unless I start having the symptoms of preclampsia (pregnancy related high blood pressure) So just keep us in your thoughts. Logan is doing well, he is head down(for now) and is kicking my ribs and lungs all the time. I didn't feel that with Trey. He was breech the entire time, so this feeling is new to me and boy does it hurt!!But at least I know he is ok. I had Richie take a picture of me today since I am 32 weeks along or in other words 8 months. It was a pretty day today, but it was still a little chilly but hopefully it will stay nice outside. 
So far so good...Now if only I could gain a little more weight!!! I will let ya'll know how my next doctor's visit goes in 2 weeks!! This blog entry has been viewed 117 times

Category: My life | Posted: Mon Feb 26, 2007 8:17 pm Sorry I haven't been on much lately. It just seems it takes all my energy to get on the computer these days. I can usually only get on the computer after Trey goes to sleep at night and since Richie's parents went on vacation, Trey isn't sleeping very well and hasn't been falling asleep until 2 am and I am so exhausted, I just stay in bed with him. He also all of a sudden won't stay in his bed. He wakes up like 2 hours after he goes to bed and gets in bed with us, so noone is really sleeping around here. But since it has been really cold and snowy here, I have been scrapbooking and trying to do some paper crafts to pass the time. I haven't gotten much done because of my energy level, but it's better than nothing I guess. I made a handmade card organizer using a lunch box to hold all the handmade cards I plan on making one day. :) Here is a couple of pictures of it. Here is the top of the organizer.

It took me like 2 or 3 weeks to do, which if I was my usual self, it might have taken a couple of days. Here is a card I made for a friend.

As for baby Logan, he is still swimming away in my tummy and kicking up a storm! I have only gained 6 pounds so far, but at least I am headed in the right direction. I have to see the doctor every 2 weeks now until about 4 weeks before my due date, then I will go every week. So it is getting closer and I can't wait til it's over!!! I didn't think this pregnancy would be this hard, but as long as Logan is healthy, I will deal with it. Anyways, just thought I would check in and let ya'll know I'm still doing ok. Trey is doing really good, he just can't figure out why he doesn't fit in mommy's lap anymore..lol Here is a picture of my tummy we took about 2 weeks ago.

Category: My life | Posted: Sat Jan 06, 2007 6:52 am well, I know Mama has filled ya'll in on what has been going on with me in the last few days. I just want to thank all of you for the prayers and well wishes that ya'll posted on my mom's blog. I have a couple of pictures to post on here for ya'll. we are definately having a boy and his name will be Logan Aidan Walker Guffey. Ligan is doing just fine, other than making his mommy very sick, but at least he is ok. He kicks ALL THE TIME!!!!!Which is good for him, but he kicks that one spot on my right side that he really needs to stay away from..but of course..he won't listen. So I will try to get on here as much as I can. Richie has my computer in pieces right now so until he puts it all together again, I'm using his laptop. Here is proof he is a boy..lol

Had the ultrasound..looks like it might be a .......
Category: My life | Posted: Sat Dec 23, 2006 7:50 am Looks like another boy, or at least that is what the ultrasound tech thinks, about 80-90% sure a boy but told me not to buy anything yet. So I'm going to say it is a boy til it is born adn proves me otherwise. If it is a boy, his name will be Logan Aidan Walker. I couldn't decide what first and middle name I liked the best, so he will just have 2 middle names. Here are a couple of new ultrasound pictures. The first one is of it yawning and boy was it a big yawn.It yawned for about a minute! It was so cute!

Richie told me to post this picture for you Frank and tell everyone Happy Holidays from him. We were doing a little last minute Christmas shopping and he saw this cone thing and couldn't help himself. I thought it was pretty funny. We have been so busy trying to get christmas gifts wrapped and some shipped to my family in Texas and I made some homemade chocolate hazelnut truffles and cranberry cinnamon almond granola for our bible study and let me tell you.. I won't be doing that again! I love to cook and bake, but I just haven't felt that great the last few months and I didn't really have the energy to do all that, but it's Christmas.. ya know! Anyways, now I can rest a little.. hopefully! Here are a couple of pictures that Richie took of me tonight. Now, forgive the no makeup and my night attire, but I thought I would get a couple of pictures on here. I'm finally starting to look pregnant. I'm not sure how much I have gained, if any so far, but I will know on the 22nd. Hope ya'll are have a great holiday season!!
