This is one of a bigger Datura plant this plant seed must have been tracked over to this part of the yard last year as my main plant is on the opposite side of the yard.

One of my moon flower vines is blooming tonight. It also is struggling from wont of a good rain.

Blooms and Plants tonight
Category: Blooms and plants in the greenhouse tonight | Posted: Wed Feb 06, 2008 7:51 am I would like to show you a few of my plants and blooms I took tonight in my green house. These Plumeria blooms are such a bright color.
The plumeria plant is just so tall its at the top of my greenhouse about 7 ft tall and is about to put on blooms way up there on top .I have been wondering what I will do with next winter.
I have one petunia bloom.
This is both of my Kolachies blooming .My friend for years .She lives in Madisonville and baby sit Kevin when he was a tiny baby. She has lots of plants and told me to come get more.I am going to take her some that I have I know she doesn't have. She has a huge amount in a green house and her yard is nothing but plants of all kinds.
Another Kolachie I planted a limb before Dec 10th and it has grown about 3 inches. This was a cutting from the same friend in town
This is another cutting I put from my yard into dirt it has now rooted.I love the color of it
A Clomie that was a tiny plant when I left for Montana. That was so dry when I came I thought was dead. To the left is moss and some type of cactus a friend gave me from town.
The dwarf Canna
I think this is a Mother - In - Laws tongue
This is a grass that Shanna gave me.I do not know what kind.
I have lots more plants that are doing good in the greenhouse .I almost lost them to not enough water for over a month.Bob did try but he just didn't water them near enough and some got lots of water.I did loose a few.I do have Burgmansias that were just cuttings and they got lots of water and are doing great. I decided to take you all down my memory lane
Category: A walk down memory lane | Posted: Sat Nov 10, 2007 8:08 am I thought about going on a walk and I thought about my legs not holding up for walking that far.I decided to get on my trusty pony.To take a ride on.
Isn't she a beauty :)What ??? Did ya really think this old women would climb on a real horse? Yeah right!!!
I thought that was a pretty gutsy move.I rode out past my moms old house .The one I was raised mosst of my life in and its about all gone but gosh how much fun I had there.I could think of mother planting her yard and garden and drawing good cold water from the old well. Its all covered up with wisteria vines and about to fall in.I still have all my wonderful memories.
I will ride past the old barn where my uncle always stored the peanut hay after it had been baled and us kids would go pick peanuts from them for mother to parch. The good smell that brings back to my mind. I use to watch my mom milk the cows and then I would follow the old tame cow all over the place trying to milk her.I just never could get one drop of milk from her and I never did learn that art :) You can barely see a little of it. Its about gone also briars and bramble has taken it over.
This is a Locust Thorn tree I'm hoping you can see the thorns and I'm also hoping I don't run over one on my trusty pony.It would go flat before I could get it back home.
On down memory lane.On my right is the old huckleberry tree we use to pick and eat them right off the tree. Now its so grown up you can just see it through the trees grapevines that we use to swing on and the brush.
I come the turn in the road I see all the big old trees I used to go around to get the squirrels to go to the other side so my Uncle could see it to shoot. I was about 5 or 6 years old at the time. You would never find me doing that now.
On down the road headed to Sonny's deer stands.
Oh there is one now.He has it out here but I wonder if he has went hunting the year? He has been working so much. I remember going with my husband Johnny a few times but I couldn't keep my mouth shut so he wouldn't take me anymore. It wasn't like he was going to shoot one .He just didn't have the heart. He killed one and I think it just bothered him so much he never killed another. He always said he missed one.He was a sharp shooter in the air force so go figure :)
Heres another one.I wonder whos this one is.He will fuss at me for being here as his daughter Jubabe will tell on me LOL She already told me to be careful because the deer hunters are out now.She said it not like you can't be heard coming on that lawn mower :)
Well as you can see not much changing colors here in Texas. I hope I didn't bore you all to much wih my old memorys .I only took you down a few acres I do have 16.8 acres.Next time I'll go all the way to the back to my old play house back on the creek.
