Walk up a mountain.
Category: My wildlife images | Posted: Fri Feb 05, 2010 7:12 am It was quite a walk up one on the local mountains today. Lots of lichens, mosses were everywhere, photographed the rarest fern on the island. This was a small pond that we past, thought it was worth a picture.

A first for me.
Category: My wildlife images | Posted: Fri Jan 22, 2010 7:19 am Had the chance to take some photos of a wood duck, it has to be one of the best looking ducks that there is. Its colours are amazing. I know some people see them often like I see the bald eagles and the herons, but then you know, sometimes they are not quite as common in other parts of the country. It is a big country too.

Bushtit.
Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Sat Jan 09, 2010 7:42 pm The witch hazel is flowering already and when we see the weather in the UK we wonder how the birds are doing over there. There was a bit of sad news in our paper today, where I was taking pics at a lake over Christmas, they found a womans body in the water.
