Thank you all for the messages about the Nuthatch. I had 10 different birds today, one new comer and one that calls 2 or 3 a year. The waxwing was a first. The white crowned sparrow calls now and then, the crossbills come most days.

Autumn Celerbration

For Frank, as I have just got back from a trip, here is the female red-winged blackbird.I have put it in earlier I believe.

My son and I are making up a page of fall shots, don't have to be the trees colours, can be berries, birds anything that you see in the fall. Have a look at this page for info or a browse.Autumn Celerbration.

Celerbrating Fall

For Earth Day my son and I made up a page of images celerbrating it, many of the images were sent in to me. We sent it out as an extra little news letter. We would like to do the same for fall, this was Earth Days. Earth Day If you would like to take part send us a couple of fall images from your area. For more info, PM me.

It amazes me how hawks get to used to garden structures like these. The male or female stay a while on this one while they wait for anything to move. Now the pileated comes here too.
