My first day on the Gardenstew forum

This is my very first ever blog so I thought I'd just tell a little about myself. I'm from SC, love to garden and have lots of time for it. Hubby and I have just hit the big 50 and are empty nesters, 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren. I'm a stay at home wife and loving it after years of working. I grow a vegetable garden every year and started with plants and flowers about 3 yrs now. We live in the country on my parents old farm. We have 3 acres of gardening space and I try to plant all I can of it. There's a pond too, right outside my back door. I plant water plants in that too. I have 3 miniature pinscher dogs that I consider my babies. Little Bit, Buddy and Repo. I'll try and post pics later of my flowers and dogs.
I've enjoyed reading posts today and posting a few and still reading more. Can't wait to get in here and get to know some of the members. I think I'm going to enjoy GS.
