Of course I could not leave out the other lovely plants in the yard. This was the first time we used this type of fertilizer and I was not at all prepared for what we did! WHEW! I tell you the yard smelled horrible for a bit but it is totally organic so I really want to stick with it!

My curly willows were dropping yellow leaves and I read somewhere that it was an iron deficiency so my landlord brought some of this fish emulsion over and we used it. I will definitely keep you updated on if it fixes out yellow leaf problem I sure hopes so.

Yes it is that time of year again where the kids are home all day and all night! What to do???? I guess I will spend a lot of time showing them what weeds are and going for walks! That is the only way I will keep my sanity with 5 kids in the house! So here is a happy summer to all! Drop me a comment and tell me what you are going to be doing with the kids this summer!
I am getting the yard under control, it kinda got away from me for a bit. Here are some pictures and I will definitely post more when I get the grass 100% healthy!
This is by far my favorite tree in the yard! It is a Curly Willow and is so cool!

I had a visitor too, this little guy kept flying around me and stuck around for some time, until the kids scared him off.

Here are some pictures of the flowers in bloom around the yard.

More random photos of the yard!
