Description: Got some of this from one of my Aunts. She called it pencil bamboo... but while looking for something online the other day, I found out what it really is! And found out it can be a water plant... so now I've got some in one of my container water gardens to see how it does.

I will be thinning some of them out of one of the flower beds.   Kay wrote on Wed Aug 04, 2010 7:14 pm: I think these plants are cool, but I had a job once that they just went crazy and took over a huge area, (about 200 sq. ft.) we can not totally get rid of them now.
