Description: When we brought our chicks home from the hatchery, they spent the first month or so inside the house in a large tote. I checked on them almost hourly, and made sure they were clean, warm, well-fed and getting used to humans. It paid off because they now consider me Mama Hen and follow me when I call (and they are full-bodied grown-up hens now).
