Description: This is a great ground cover, or front-of-the-bed flower. It is a type of scutellaria, called Skullcap because the flower resembles the yarmulke. It can withstand dry soil, full sun, and only needs cutting back to about 6" in the early spring. It propagates by rooting in branches--just let a branch make contact with soil for about a month and roots will form.
